Location: Hamar Laghdad Formation, Ofaten, Morocco


Scabriscutellum furficerumDescription:. This trilobite is a member of the Order Corynexochida, Family Thysanopeltidae known is Scabriscutellum furciferum. It is distinguished by lack of fringing pygidial spines from Thysanopeltis, and from Scutellum by the ribbing of the pygidium. This fine example was preserved in a dramatic contraflexed position, making for a fine display of its many features.
