Amecephalus piochensis TrilobiteDescription: The Chisholm Shale trilobites were discovered and described in the 1870s by geologists of the Wheeler Survey. They were found in the mine tailings surrounding the infamous wild west town of Pioche. Amecephalus piochensis is one of these classic trilobite species.
