This
is a new species of Lichid
trilobite discovered in July, 2007 in the Haragan Formation. The
genera is also known from the nearby Bois d'Arc formation, but only
from a couple of disarticulated and distorted specimens. The trilobite
was found and prepared by Robert Carroll. It is anticipated that
the specimen will included in Riccardo Levi-Setti's 3rd edition
of his book, "Trilobites". Note the trilobite's placement
in Order Lichida is Obvious by the tell-tell traits of spinosity
and postulous exoskeleton.
