5.3 inch by 4.0 inch piece of matrix displays THREE complete and one
disarticulated members of the Order Proetida, Family Otarionidae from
the Devonian Lamrakeb region deposits near Alnif, Morocco commonly
known as the "Devil's Horned" Cyphaspis. This is a naturally
mass motality assemblage. A lot of time is spent preparing all the
spines freestanding, with the pustulose galbellas and fine eyestalks
in full relief. |
