Nephalicephalus
beebei has only recently been described, with literature reference
not yet available. Based upon its morphological similarities with
Menomonia, Dresbachia, and Densonella, it is assumed here that it
has been placed in the same family (Menomoniidae). Most are found
bent in half unlike this prone specimen.
