Gooseberry Plant Leaf FossilDescription: An exceptionally well preserved and hard to find leaf species from Nevada. The Ribes is small, but stunning with beautiful amber color contrasted against the finely grained paper shale. Under a hand lens the preservation and detail displayed is simply amazing. The paper shale upon which the Ribes resides is approximately 0.5 mm and extremely fragile. It will be shipped in a glass covered Riker mount for protection. Please, please, please do not remove it from the mount without the utmost caution.
