Archegonus nehdenensisDescription: This is a very, very rare species of the genus Archegonus. It is exceptionally well preserved being 3D, inflated and exhibiting the finest detail. By the Carboniferous, the trilobites lone surviving Order was Proetida, and in a general sense all Carboniferous trilobites are relatively rare. This is a rare German specimen, even among Carboniferous trilobites.
